So what is TFS

TFS is an acronym for Track, Field & Swim

TFS is a Windows program written in VB6 with a Microsoft Access database backend.

TFS was created to automate the tediuos record keeping and calculation performed at Athletics and Swim Meets.

At the heart of TFS are the following features:

Database of Meetings

• Can Create new Meetings, load past meetings

• Handles Athletics Track & Field events

• Handles Swimming timing events

• Allows for Teams (eg: Club, School)

• Allows for Divisions (eg: Houses within a School)

• Handles Heats (Try-outs) before the main event

• Handles any Age group (and 'Open')

• Handles Gender (M / F / Mixed) events

Database of Participants

• Can pre-capture participants from a Team (with sub-division if required)

• Patricipants can be captured 'on-the-fly' as results are recorded

Result Capture

• Entry done per event; quickly choose the event number or description

• Allows as many entries per event as required

• Manually sort in descending order, or enter in any order and manually move positions

• Participant names can be selected by pressing a few auto-complete keys

• Dropdown list of all participant names

• Prefix names with a unique number if preferred

Totals

• Automatically keeps totals per Participant and their Team/Division

• Points allocation can be customised

• Points from 1 to 20 places

• Additional point can be awarded for breaking a record

• Additional point can be awarded for equalling a record

• Relay points sub-total

• Participation points sub-total for Heats

Reports

Points

• Total points for each participant

• Top participant (upto 20) in each age group

• Best performance in each Team

Blank Programme

• Programme of events as defined in the meeting

• Can quickly print out in booklet form to include as insert for Programme

Results

• Same as blank programme but with results displayed

• Includes totals for Teams / Divisions

• Captains report excludes actual performance to be used as a team sheet

TFS is an affordable meeting managment program. The program has both Athletics and Swimming modules included in the price
There is no limit to the number of installations
There is no limit to the number of users
There is no annual license fee
There is no monthly support fee

You simply pay R1000.00 once-off to get a personalised license for your team
Initial installation and up to 1 hour of training is included should you require it (via Teamviewer, email and telephone)
Upgrades are offered at reduced rates to clients who want the new features
Telephonic support is available at R150.00 per half-hour (billed after the 1st 5 minutes)
Travel costs are excluded from the above costs. Quotes provided on request
 

DEMO

• The program will run as a fully functional demo for a period of 90 days from installation. You will have to wait a few seconds before starting and random 'Nag screen' appearances are made with another few seconds wait before you can continue.

• After 90 days, the program can still be used, but printouts will have details blocked out, and the 'Nag screen' will appear at very regular intervals

• Attempting to alter the registration license will cause the program to revert to demo mode
